Dear Magnolia Heart Family,
Hi. I’m Nicole, the founder and CEO of Magnolia Heart Nanny Services, Magnolia Heart Babysitters, and Munchkins Corporate Care. I’ve had many opportunities and challenges in my life that have brought me to the point of founding a range of full service childcare solutions, with the goal of offering parents the peace of mind of hiring professional, trustworthy nannies and sitters that are passionate about the care and development of children. I grew up in a small town in Georgia on my grandmother’s biscuits and grits and my mom’s Blueberry Cream Cheesecake. My grandmother has 14 children, and my mom has 4 children. I had a safe and happy childhood, surrounded by family, love and laughter. I’ve known my husband since I was 13 years old, and we have 7 children. You read that right…seven children between the ages of 2 and 26! I’ve always strived to give my own children the same sense of happiness and safety that I felt growing up.
Like most women, I have played many roles in my life. I am a mother striving to raise well-rounded, happy children who will be productive members of society. I am a military wife and know all the struggles of keeping my family whole while my husband serves our country. I have worked in the childcare and medical fields for over 20 years. I have worked as a nanny for military families and I am the former owner of Little Bizzy Bees Daycare, where we focused on helping children grow, develop, and learn in a loving, safe environment. I am also the parent of a daughter with special needs. This has been one the most challenging roles and also one of the most fulfilling in many ways. I know the pain a parent feels because she can’t find a nanny that has any awareness of the challenges we face as parents of special needs children. Over the years, I’ve worked with several nannies. I often felt discouraged when we invested our love and time with a nanny who wasn’t a good fit for our family. I wanted a nanny with a willingness to learn how to interact with my daughter and an understanding that I just want the same happy, loving childhood for my own daughter that all mother’s desire for their children. This is the reason that I require that all Magnolia Heart Nannies are awareness trained. As a working mom, I know the frustration and panic when there is a last minute breakdown in regular childcare or an unexpected illness or school closure. Magnolia Heart Babysitters provide back up care as well as traditional babysitting for date nights, etc.
I have a great appreciation for my life and for both the challenges and opportunities I’ve had. My biggest desire is to help families ensure that their children can have a safe and happy childhood.
I look forward to meeting you soon,
CEO and Founder,
Magnolia Heart Nanny Services
